Car bras are like leaving the protective plastic on the bezel of your new TV. Sure, you're keeping it from getting scratched, but to what end? So that you can one day peel off the plastic (probably long after whatever it's on is obsolete) and bask in the glory of your scratch-free bezel/6 square feet of your car? What's the point? Show it off while it's new and shiny, and do some regular maintenance to keep it looking that way.

Saw a car the other day that obviously had a head-on collision. I think the car bra was the only thing holding the front bumper in place.
